I started this notebook during Covid, but got pneumonia and abandoned it and it has been on the backburner ever since. My students found the other notebooks useful and have been asking for the same for Year 2 Macro so I finally got round to it!
Like the others in this series, these booklets are pretty versatile. While they can be used in class with guidance from a teacher, but the clear and intuitive layout also helps students stay on track and complete tasks independently. I often use them for revision, where students complete the entire booklet in preparation for exams, ensuring they’ve covered all the essential material. They’re also excellent for intervention, helping students who need to systematically review the course.
Beyond revision, these booklets are useful in a variety of ways. They work well as lesson recaps, allowing students to summarise important points after each class. In a flipped learning environment, they help students organise and prepare for upcoming lessons. They’re also great as homework, with specific pages assigned to reinforce what’s been taught. For cover lessons, they offer a convenient solution, and they’re especially helpful for distance learning, whether over school holidays or for students who are absent for extended periods.
The pages can be printed individually or as a complete booklet - I like to use two-pronged project folders to keep everything organised.
