In this activity, students are given one of 8 scenario cards. Each scenario represents a different factory, selling different products, with differing initial pollution levels and different abatement costs. Students then have to decide whether the abate pollution, buy pollution permits or sell pollution permits.

I recommend using this alongside my Pollution Permits Slides, as it has an example.

The download contains a pdf document with Pollution Trading Cards and Teacher Guidance, which includes suggested debrief questions.
